Instant Rivalry is Meg and Caleb Hutton. A brother-sister duo from Prince Edward County, Ontario, founded on the roots of country, rock and family ties. Their fiery stage presence, sound and song writing give them a unique edge and authenticity that is sure to move you physically or emotionally. Their dynamic is diverse, but strong. Caleb brings his smooth voice and guitar chops, years of sound engineering experience and his undeniable ‘Brad Pitt’ looks to the table. Where Meg, brings her big voice, fiery attitude and confidence and the ability to write a lyric that can make you laugh, cry or sing along. Together, they make one talented unit.
Instant Rivalry are the winners of the Next Country Music Star Competition, Ontario Backroads Country Talent Search and were selected by the Country Music Association of Ontario as New Faces Going Places. They have shared the stage with acts like Tanya Tucker, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lindi Ortega and Corb Lund. Their debut album ‘Whiskey and Lead’ launched with four sold out album release shows. Instant Rivalry will be releasing tour dates in early spring and announcing how 2020 will be defining year.
